Rebuilt from the ground up after Hurricane Helene — a warm mountain craftsman, restored better than before.

Brief description

Completed in 2023 in the gated community of The Settings of Black Mountain, this 2,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bath home was completely rebuilt from the ground up following the damage of Hurricane Helene. What emerged is a warm mountain craftsman that honors its setting while standing stronger than before — vaulted ceilings lined with exposed beams and tongue-and-groove wood, herringbone hardwood floors, and a stacked-stone fireplace anchoring an open, light-filled great room.

The kitchen carries the same craftsman warmth, with knotty alder cabinetry, a natural stone backsplash, quartz counters, and a generous island open to the living and dining areas. A comfortable main-level layout, a primary suite with a tiled walk-in shower and dual vanity, and covered porches connect everyday living to the wooded mountainside beyond. Rebuilding a home after a storm takes more than construction — it takes care, and a commitment to getting every detail right. From the framing to the final finish, it was rebuilt to the standard every AR Construction home is held to: sound, lasting, and made to be lived in for years to come.
