Our Home Building Process
On this page, we’ll go through the basics of building a custom home with us and take you step by step through the process. We are also very happy to do this in person. Feel free to get in touch to set up a first meeting.
Step 1
Research
- Discuss your wants, needs, and wish list items
- Review your home design/plans
- Discuss your budget and timeline
- Drive by the site of potential project to get a feel of layout and design
- Introduction to an architect if needed
Step 2
Design
- Our team will meet you on site and will assist you with ideas to help you decide what design best fits your lot and budget
- Work with architect and development (if needed) on plans (from architect or online)
Step 3
Budget
- Our team is able to help you pick the finishes that are cohesive with your design as well as budget
- Work up an estimate
- Review and finalization of budget and timeline
- Sign Construction Contract
Step 4
Construction
- Project schedule developed and included in estimate
- Secure permits
- Site preparation
- Subcontractor management
- Weekly video updates tracking progress
- Easy communication and management of change orders and/or unforeseen issues
- Final walkthrough after completion
Step 5
After-Care + Warranty
- Completion of all punch list items
- Continued after-care
- 12 month warranty
