What Our Clients Say

My wife and I are approaching the one-year anniversary of our custom home built by Anthony Roberts, owner of AR Construction. I highly recommend him to anyone planning to build or remodel a home. Anthony has proven that “Build with Integrity” is a well-deserved motto tied to his company’s name. Working with him and his team from the very start and throughout our entire project, I was impressed by the commitment and sense of responsibility to what we planned, envisioned, and inevitably changed along the way. A quick phone call or an on-site meeting would reliably lead to an approach that was creative, practical, and affordable. Many thanks for that! I believe that Anthony is true to his heart in saying that he treats clients like family. It’s comforting to have a builder and an entire team that you can trust and work with as partners on a custom design. If another new home is ever in our future, AR Construction will be getting our call.

We highly recommend Anthony Roberts! In addition to building a quality home, he is a man of honesty and integrity. Our neighborhood in Black Mountain has strict design review board guidelines and AR construction navigated the process for us while exceeding the requirements set by the DRB. The home he built for us is a showplace of his craftsmanship. Our home is so solidly built that is withstood the force of a landslide that tore down our street. I could go on and on about how Anthony has always been there for us. From small corrections after we moved in to showing up moments after we were hit by the landslide during Helene. We didn’t even have to ask. He said “you are my family”. When you choose AR construction, you’ll feel like more than just a client.

Our first encounter with Anthony Roberts was the day Helene destroyed our home, trapping us in our driveway with no way to escape. We were so fortunate that day as Anthony happened to be checking on a few of his home building projects within our community. He became instrumental in saving our family that day and getting us to safety. Some weeks later, we contracted with him to take on the challenging task to repair and restore our home, with a goal to save as much of the home as possible to help save money. One year to the day of Helene, we were able to move back into our home that was even more beautiful than before! Anthony exemplifies integrity, honesty and expertise in his work which results in a high quality and solid home. He maintains good control of the budget and effectively communicated throughout the project. He’s not only a good trustworthy businessman but a great person as well. We wouldn’t hesitate to contract with him again.

Many people have passed by my home in The Settings which was built by AR Construction. People have complimented us on how nice the house looks and who built it. The following is what I always say: Anthony Roberts. House was completed end of November 2023. AR Construction was always very professional and courteous. Anthony was focused on our budget and met it. Anthony aimed to please, if he sensed we weren’t quite 100% pleased he would make the adjustments until we were. Anthony has a site Supervisor/Foreman Alex Smith who is absolutely amazing. Whenever I have a question or something needs fixing he would respond asap. Most importantly Anthony is a man of his word and one of the most honorable and generous person I’ve ever met.
